How do I order more portraits?
Portrait orders are available on the provided website for 1 year and the cost of shipping directly to your home will apply. After one year, if you wish to purchase photos, contact Bookworm Portraits and Ashley will be able to help with a purchase.
What if I don’t like my child’s school portraits?
If you don’t like your initial portraits, you are welcome to have your student participate in retake day. Feel free to email the photographer with any critiques that will help improve your students’ portrait. If after retake day, you are still unhappy with your portraits, I invite you to schedule a session at the studios of Ashley Klaasen Photography, LLC for a small fee.
When do school portraits arrive?
Each portrait day will have a bulk order date. Once the bulk order date has passed, portraits will arrive at your students’ school within 1 week. If you order after the bulk order date, your portraits will arrive at your address via USPS within 2 weeks of ordering. All printable digitals are emailed within 48-hours.
How do I order and pay for portraits?
Within one week of picture day, proofs will be sent to the email you provided to the photographer. Once you log in to view your students’ portraits, you’ll be able to purchase print packages, specialty items, or printable digitals directly from their gallery.
What if my child misses Portrait Day?
If you miss the original picture day, a makeup day will be scheduled. If you miss the makeup day, you are invited to schedule a session at the studios of Ashley Klaasen Photography, LLC for a small fee.
When it is time for my child’s portrait, will an adult help my child get ready for their portrait?
Your students’ teacher or a school helper will assist in preparing the kids for their photos. If you have a special request such as changing their shirt or wearing specific shoes, etc., please contact the school for them to communicate this to the photographer.
How will I find out about Portrait Day?
Your school or daycare will send out a flier and/or email with picture day information. The timing will vary depending on your school.
How many photos are available for each student?
Each student will have a minimum of 3 portraits available. One standard school headshot, One horizontal and One Vertical themed shot. More may be added to a gallery at the discretion of the photographer and editor.
Purchasing Multiple Packages?
Parents purchasing multiple packages will receive a 10% discount towards their final cost.
Will we be able to have a class photo or composite?
Yes! School’s will have the option to have a large class portrait taken or a composite of the students’ headshots created. School branding and logos on composites will be added if desired, and proofing will be required by school administration.
