Hello! My name is Ashley Klaasen and I’m the owner and photographer of Bookworm Portraits and Ashley Klaasen Photography. I am a wife to my husband Scott and mom to Annie and Teddy and a owner of two four-legged friends, a dog named Ein and cat named Eddie.
I graduated from Grand Valley State University (Go Lakers!) in 2011 with a Bachelor of Science in Photography. After working as a graphic designer for 10 years, I finally had the opportunity to start my own photography business. I started with Ashley Klaasen Photography but after seeing a need, I launched Bookworm Portraits in the Spring of 2024.
